Becky and Daniel knew they wanted to spend their wedding day surrounded by friends, family, sand and sun. They choose Sandals in Montego Bay for its stunning backdrop and ease of planning. Becky remembers, "It is just so beautiful… it was something you only see in the movies. And the fact that we could spend the once in a life time experience with our closest family and friends was much better than being in a banquet hall surround by a lot of distant faces!"

"I came across Hacienda by pure luck. I read an article in The Record about an artist who was creating a large Don Quixote statue on the premise. I had no idea where or what this place was used for but Don Quixote was one of my favorite stories as a child, so I was going to see if I could take a picture with the statue. It wasn't until Marek and I goggled the venue for directions that we realized it was a wedding venue with an old antique flare that was very much our style (so close it almost looked like our home!). We always joked that the patron of the venue, Don Quixote was our foreseen future in old age. That at least one of us would become so completely immersed in our books that the lines between reality and fiction would be blurred which is why this place meant so much to us." Jennevie

Tim and Robin wanted to start their lives together with a focus on their faith, each other and the amazing people who have supported them throughout their lives. Says Robin, "It doesn't need to cost a lot of money to celebrate those things." St. John's Lutheran Church offered a beautiful space to say 'I do' and held a special meaning for the couple. They held their ceremony at Alma Community Centre and say it was the perfect place to celebrate their nuptials, "We liked the country feel and quietness. It is a bright, lovely new building and was also budget friendly with lots of space and parking for our guests."
